V12 Engine Rebuilds...…..all of our V12 engines are built to the same meticulous standards. Whether a rough runner or completely seized, the process is the same. Initially the engine is completely dismantled and the block is chemically cleaned. The cylinder heads are vapour blasted, skimmed and are fitted with new valve guides, valves and springs. The oil pumps are usually within the wear tolerances if they have had some reasonable maintenance, however, should it need to be replaced, this will be at extra cost. The crank is machined to the next oversize. The timing chain, tensioner and slippers are replaced. All fasteners are replaced. The pistons and liners are thoroughly assessed. Around half of our rebuilds require new pistons and liners at extra cost. We fit an electronic system to the distributor to give additional reliability. Powder coating is applied to the inlet manifolds, cam covers and various pipes, air boxes, brackets and pulleys. All aluminium parts are vapour blasted to give an 'as new' appearance. The carburettors are dismantled, ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt. The water pump is dismantled and rebuilt. A few examples of our work are shown below. Our build time for these engines is 8 weeks.
